This is a raw scan of a photograph, no Photoshop here.
"How was it done?" I hear you ask. This one is really a sort of double exposure on one frame.
I set up a camera on a tripod in the darkroom under room light, focused on the seat, "stopped down" and using a cable release opened the shutter for a long exposure.
I quickly moved into frame and sat still for 30 seconds or so and quickly got up and walked out of frame and closed the shutter some time later.
The keen eye will notice the swirls as I get up and down and the fact that the set has sunk a couple of mm's as I sat on it.
If cutting my hair would make me that young again I would do it.
