Colour

Orchid blooms are responsible for the most diverse array of colours and patterns to be found in the whole plant world. Incredible patterns with every thing from leopard skin blotching to a very fine overlay of spotting or bold stripes, and sometimes even both, and in some cases in more colours than a rainbow on a single flower. Others may be bicoloured or bold flowers of pure yellow, white, red, orange, green, pinks and purples, verging into almost black.
