Conservation
Growing nursery raised orchids in the garden, is
also a contribution to their conservation without
having to go to the trouble of setting up and
learning in the in's and out's of green house
culture. Many jungle and virgin forest areas
through out the world are being desiccated
quicker than what most would believe. Species
are been lost before they have even been
studied, let alone artificially propagated. Using
seed raised orchid species as landscape plants(the
right plants in the right situation) is a great way
to make a contribution to their plight, amongst
other endangered plants. Not only that but the
aesthetic value and status of orchids is enormous,
as well as being an excellent investment and
increasing property value.
