Hello Les and Fran.
Just wanted to say congratulations in being in business for 39 years. We also wanted to thank you for a very enjoyable weekend. You could't wish for better weather. The night dive was fantastic and for a first time night dive, it was a very good experience.

Here I was thinking that there were not many sea urchins in the Haven, boy was I wrong.
The meal before the night dive and the company we shared was also great. After doing 7 dives on the weekend I was absolutely beat and with that I was in bed by 8.30 on the Monday night.

Once again congratulations and thank you.

“You meet a lot of nice people diving and this week we met Peter and Terese who were up for their anniversary. Both are very experienced divers and kept us entertained as they added layers of “passion killer” thermal undies before getting into their dry suits. The water WAS 18 degrees guys!

Peter and Terese dived some of the coast’s prime dive sites with us over the long wekend including an excellent exploratory dive near First Point - brilliant!

Hope to see you both again next time you are on the Coast.”

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend with lots of old and new friends. It was our 39th Anniversary of the dive school. Terese and Peter had a wedding anniversary, the weather was wonderful and the water brilliant. We had a night dive Saturday night with 12 divers taking to the water and another 6 or so keeping the bar-b-que going.

After getting chased chased in by Saturday's storm, Sunday was a welcome change. In fact, Sunday diving has tended to have the pick conditions of recent weeks. But I digress. On surfacing from the Jew Ground on Sunday we found we had company on the surface - a seal. This chap was sunning himself and could not have cared less about a boat load of divers clicking away with their cameras just metres away as he grabbed a few rays. The water was 18 degrees Celcius and the weather perfect. The Seal really capped off a great dive. This is the second close encounter with a seal in recent weeks at this spot.

Just for Fun
People who would like to join us for a formation scuba dive team please let us have your name and phone number.

You have your skydiving formations, now we are going to find out if we can do a scuba diving formation - it could be fun.

When? We do not know yet, Where? Out in Terrigal Haven or Bay. A date for a practice run and the final run will be announced.

Congratulations to John Johnston on his first Kiama Dive.

Hi Les and Fran

Just wanted to say what a great weekend I had, not sure if I’m still narc’d from diving the Kiama or just on a high after 6 dives, etc. Here is my log book entry after sat.

Linda and I had a ‘girls dive’ complete with scooters. … A really fun dive, a great way to celebrate my 100th dive for the year. But there was more! When I returned, Fran had put streamers around and a sign “Congratulations Chris’s 100th for the year” and a nice cake – how lovely!!!! A great day spent with fellow divers and friends.

Cheers Chris

Just a short note to thank you both for helping me achieve a couple of milestones during last Saturdays dive. This was my first dive on the Kiama and my first dive to that depth. Chris was still smiling when we got back to the dive shop. By the way could you tell me what the clear thing with the white dots is?

Peter Saunders

Hi Peter, thanks for the kind words. Congratulations on becoming one of the "Kiama" divers, and for the lovely shot of the resident cuttlefish. You at least rememberd to take off the lense cover unlike one unfortunate diver recently. No names mentioned. The clear object with white spots is an ascidian and they also come in yellow and orange. If you touch them the "animal" (I'm sure John will correct me if I am wrong), retracts down the holes and into its main body - Clever hey.

Fran

"Last night's wine and today's waves don't mix."

Linda

Hey Linda it was a very lumpy sea though!!

Fran

Ohh That's big!

Congratulations to Christine on getting her 100th dive for 2007 and diving the wreck of the Kiama.
